Location with Smallmouth bass

Caught this little guy on Lake Barkley in Dover Tn. Im being told its a warmouth, but Ive never seen anything like it. For a small fish it bit like a hammer, fought like its life depended on it, and made me think it was much bigger. It has the tell tale striping of a smallmouth around its eyes but a very small tooth patch on its tongue like a developing spot. Good stuff.
