Location with Black crappie

End of April and feels like the beginning of December. 6:30am, alarm sounds, I check the weather, 34 degrees with 5-8 mph winds..... Yup Im that guy and were off to the lake. Boat hits the water, I turn on my graph and it says water temp is 47. We run around the lake looking for warmer water and I find a bay that is 49. To some you wouldnt think 2 degrees would make a difference but oh did it ever. We found some nice Crappie holding in 8-10ft of water on the outside of a bay. They were hitting tube jigs about 3ft under a bobber. Dont let a bit of a cold front discourage you from what you know. Some of my best days of Crappie fishing have been in the worst weather.
