Location with Largemouth bass

Went fishing for snakehead last night in Aquia Creek. Managed to hook 4 short-strikers with a trailer hook, but even so still lost all 4. Only had one really solid strike and with an 8:1 gear ratio I still couldnt catch up with the fish. That was on a buzzbait. I did manage two nice bass. One was another citation by length, the second in two trips- Previous one was Friday in Powells Creek. Both caught on a bladed swimbait on the edge of grassbeds. This bass will be an impressive river fish this coming Spring. Big head and almost 23 now. Shell be a Virginia citation by length and weight when she spawns this coming Spring. I released her immediately and she took off, ready to strip another anglers drag. Vicious 12# fluoro to 40# braid leader (for snakes). Shad color bladed swimbait (Chatterbait)
