Location with Rainbow trout
I found a nice pool in between two runs and I knew there were a couple of these beauties in there. I had one chase a black woolly bugger but couldnt get any to take it. I worked the hole pretty good and then decided to give it a rest and come back. I checked the lower run for a few and then switched it up. Searching my flies, I thought scud/sowbug and this guy caught my eye, so I threw it under a bugger. nothing for awhile so I switched between olive and black wolly buggers and I switched this guy to a red San-Juan worm and then to a classic pheasant-tail. After two hours of nothing I threw this guy back on and just kept messing with the depth adding micro shots here and there and sliding my bobber up and down a little bit at a time. With only 10 minutes left to fish I made one last adjustment... #grateful for the tug, grateful for the wiggle, grateful to spend a quiet minute with this lovely lady on the river. #trouthunter #rainbowtrout
