Location with Red drum (Redfish)
Heres some more summer surf reds from back in September, two separate weekends, got the 30, then the 39 on the first. Second weekend I went out just before sundown, fished just over an hour, and got a pair of twin 38s, a fatty and a skinny one, the skinny one is pictured on the tailgate. All were caught on frozen bonita heads about 150 yards out on my Breakaway HDX 13 longcasting rod. Breakaway has a great lineup of rods for surf, inshore, and jetty fishing. On my HDX I can throw 8oz weight and bait 150+ yards on a good day, but its still sensitive enough to feel the fish.
