Location with Smallmouth bass

Well got to pre fish the day before and try and locate some fish before the first bass tournament for me of 2019 on Lake Champlain, launching out of the Chazy River. I located a few good areas but had boat and fish finder issues making things challenging. But we managed to put together a pattern, despite the size not being the best we managed 13.80lbs of smallies for 20th place. Which Im happy with and good points. All my fish came off of a 5150 3.8 swimbait in Reaper or TK Sexy Shad. I rigged them on a 1/4oz VMC Halfmoon jighead paired with a 71 MH 13 Defy Black rod and Quantum Throttle reel spooled with 10lb Sunline Super Fluorocarbon. We fished around 60 degree water temps and 4-8ft of water on pre spawn and some early spawn fish. We fished rocks specifically wether it be a rock shoal, point or just a rock pile in the middle of nowhere.
