Location with Largemouth bass

This is a collection from over the past few years of Lake Varner or Cornish Creek as some call it, and its big girl large-mouth bass that call it home. I have been fishing this lake for 15 years now. In those 15 years this wonderful place has transformed tremendously. When I first started fishing here, it was an overgrown hydrilla grass farm that had to be closed to boats in the summer due to the low water water level, and vegetation so thick only kayaks were able to navigate it. Now days it is a constant current reservoir generated by man made solar powered turbines strategically placed throughout the lake. Add the pair of bald eagles nestled atop the pines, and you have a spectacular reservoir. Oh and I guess the thriving slab crappie and hybrid reaching upwards 8 / 9lbs arent too shabby either. Lake varner will humble you and reward you. These are just a few of its beauties to grace my boat, and I am still looking for the pics of the two 10+lb bass that my co anglers caught in the same year!!! The reservoir is only a short 30-45 drive from Atlanta, so if you ever find yourself in Georgia and are able to do some fishing keep Lake Varner in mind and give me a shout!
