Location with Largemouth bass

I went duck hunting on opening day this past Saturday. After killing a few ducks and geese, I decided I had just enough daylight left when I got home to go do a little fishing. It was unusually warm for this time of year and I thought since I had my waders on already, I just grabbed my Ardent Finesse Ultra-Light Spinning Combo and headed across the street to the ditch that eventually feeds into Spring Creek on Old Hickory Lake. I waded out to the nearest deep spot and casted my line. I was throwing a Gambler Lures Little Otter with a 2/0 hook and 1/8oz bullet weight Texas-rigged (topped with Liquid Mayhem Crawfish) on 4lbs Silver Thread line. In just 45 minutes before it got dark, I was able to catch several bass including this one pretty nice one and several red eye and rock bass. I had a BLAST and these fish put up a fight on the 56 Ultra-Light rod. What a fun afternoon! If you look on a map, I was right beside the local elementary school wading a ditch mostly. I found where an actual ditch dumped into the tiny creek and thats where the majority of the fish were located. (I was wading in about 2 of water and casting into deep holes about 3-4 deep).
