Location with Walleye

A few Adrian College team mates and I got a full day on the Saginaw river recently. We caught over 200 walleye ranging from 12 to 17 inches. The fish hit almost anything dropped on them but seemed to prefer the size 03 ultra light rippin rap and a #5 or smaller jiggin rap both in chrome patterns. VMC Glow Resin hooks gave the smaller fish something to focus on when they bit. The extra color on the hook gave them a target to hit so the majority of bites were directed at the treble.
