Location with Largemouth bass
Smacked a few roughly three pounders to win an evening tournament on lake tarpon. This was only my fourth time on Florida waters and it was 45 degree air temps with 51 degree water temps. Only two other fish were caught and they were of a much smaller size class. I stayed close to shore and threw a salt and pepper Whiptail on both a PowerShot and a wacky jig. The fish were holding tight to see walls and the slow flutter and incredible action of the Whiptail was too much to resist. There is nowhere I have been that even the most finicky of bass wont eat this bait. Definatly a must have when the bite gets tough!
