Location with Black crappie

Set my tip ups for walleye in some primo spots (i had the lake to myself when i arrived), perfect overcast day, fished into the night, but no love from the marble eyes. I occupied myself with crappie, they were a bit picky but they wanted the jigging rap tipped with gulp. I know there are big ones in this lake so i just stuck with it but hammered 8-10 inchers most of the day with one or two 11 and that was it. I did belly hook a 22 pickerel though that i was sure was my first ice walleye for the entire fight haha. Also a giant hubcap crappie almost flew out of the hole attacking my tip up minnow when i pulled it out, but never came back!
